Pharouk Hussein – CEO
Pharouk is the founder of American Student Athlete Logistics and Director of International Affairs for Kits for Peace. Prior to managing ASAL, he coached at Newman University (NCAA D2) in Wichita, KS and also coordinated the sports program for the Wichita YMCA. He has playing experiences within the NCAA, NJCAA, PDL and MISL. Pharouk has a MBA in International business and bachelors in Sports communication.
Mario Felix – European tournaments coaching Director
Mario Felix is the assistant head coach at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. Westmont reached the NAIA Championships Elite 8 in 2017 and won 5 national championships. Mario is also the head coach for the Santa Barbara Soccer Club. Prior to coaching in California, he was the men’s head soccer coach at Bethel College in Newton, KS as well as the U19 Wichita Rush boys team. He has further coaching experience at Colorado Christian University (NCAA D2), MidAmerica Nazarene University (NAIA) and Kansas University (NCAA D1).
Alfred Selassie Ofori – Events & recruiting coordinator
Selassie has held various positions within ASAL and has managed events within west Africa. Since 2014, he has worked with soccer teams on the national, professional, academy and high school levels within Ghana & Nigeria. He has a background in marketing, journalism, videography and coaching.
Andre Braithwaite – Coach & Scout
Braithwaite had his University playing career at Newman University and Kansas City Kansas Community College. Braithwaite studied business administration and management with a minor in accounting. Andre started his pro career at the Kansas City Comets in 2012. In 2012 the Comets made it to the final of the MISL championship and in 2013/2014 he helped the Kansas City Comets win their first MISL championship. In 2018, the KC Comets traded Braithwaite to the Utica F.C. and then to Florida Tropics. Andre is currently the coaching director for Soar FC.

Hans Hassell – Marketing coordinator & coach
Hans Hassell is currently the sales director at the Soccer Factory. He played professional soccer for the Colorado Blizzard (MASL). Prior to playing in Denver, he was the assistant coach at Cloud County Community College (2nd in the Nation – NJCAA) . Coach Hans was also part of ASAL’s 2016 Dana and Norway cup team which finished 2nd in Denmark and in the quarter-finals in Norway. He has further experience as the director of recruiting for ASAL in Europe, North America and South America.
Anthony – Coach & scout
As an A-1 rank out of a D-II school (Adams State) in college Anthony was in the 2002 NFL draft as a football kicker. As a grassroots coach for the last 10 years, a national & state “D” license, Anthony focuses on total soccer with the players he coaches. Not just total soccer but as a total person, and a total package. As a true entrepreneur and creative income earner, Anthony is a freelance video advertiser and a fractional chief marketing officer for a dozen businesses in the Denver area.
